Albatron has announced the PX925X Pro-RW which supports the new Intel FSB 800 MHz Pentium 4 Prescott processor with LGA 775 socket. The PX925X Pro-RW features include built in PCI Express X1 and X16 sockets. The PCI Express x1 socket can provide up to 250 MB/sec data transfer rates. The PCI Express x16 socket graphics slot provides up to 4 GB/sec data rates and has twice the bandwidth of AGP8X slots, the company claims. Dual channel DDR2 400/533 memory support also feature with data transfer rates of up to 8.5 GB per second when used with DDR2 533 memory. Intel Prescott FMB 2 certified CPU power specifications and solid-state capacitors to minimise burnout problems also feature. The mainboard supports an 802.11g add-on module, four Serial ATA devices, up to eight USB 2.0 ports and IDE RAID 0.1. Available August 15. It will be distributed by AMI and Australia IT.
