Adelaide-based security software house, Lync Software, is looking to expand its partner line-up to move its LyncRMS product into the enterprise and government markets.
Historically, Lync has been OEM-focused with its security technology, which allows IT staff to track the use of and control files that can be used by removable media devices. However, it is now hoping to grow its business in its two biggest markets, Australia and North America, using a larger reseller network.
To fuel the push, the company took on partner development manager, Laura James, at the beginning of the year. It also launched a channel program in March and subsequently snared a handful of resellers in Australia, Canada and the US. Local partners include Calvert Technologies, SecureBoost, Tripos IT, Unitech IT Solution, and Vectra.
The company is now after more partners to further penetrate the market, James said.
A core focus on security and a history of dealing with enterprise users was vital for any new recruits, she said.
Lync Software also had received strong interest from the government market and would look to work with partners catering to that space, James said.
