BigAir has broadened its wholesale agreement with Unwired and will now offer the carrier's new laptop wireless card in Melbourne.
The addition of the Unwired PC card with BigAir's iBurst wireless card would allow the broadband service provider to offer its channel additional wireless options, BigAir CEO, Jason Ashton, said.
"It's a pretty attractive proposition and complementary to the other services we offer to our channel partners," he said.
The Unwired card would suit integrators and resellers with strong market presence in the SME and corporate sectors, Ashton said.
"The cards are excellent because they give good flexibility to resellers who want to offer an alternative to 3G which is slower, clumsier and more expensive than wireless," he said.
Ashton expected its foray into the Melbourne market to significantly growthe provider's 10,000 subscriber base.
