• 10 August, 2006 10:16

Maximizer Software Ships next generation Maximizer Enterprise 9.5; system outshines SalesLogix and Salesforce.com

Maximizer Software announced that it has begun shipping Maximizer Enterprise 9.5. The enhanced version of Maximizer Software’s award-winning CRM suite empowers businesses to work the way they want with powerful new mobile capabilities, deep Microsoft Office integration, simple end-user-driven configuration and support for the latest Microsoft technologies. Small and medium-sized enterprises can expect to deploy Maximizer Enterprise 9.5 as quickly as on demand CRM solutions and in a fraction of the time it takes to implement top on- premise systems such as SalesLogix - including user training.

According to Faron Thompson, Managing Director of Primary Capital, an Atlanta Georgia-based income property and residential real estate finance firm generating over $2 billion in business annually, "Maximizer Enterprise has allowed us to bring together all critical customer information sources into a single, universally accessible and easy-to-use application. As a company that uses email for business communication and marketing campaigns, we’ve benefited from more convenient Outlook email integration using Maximizer Enterprise. With this major communication channel integrated into our prospecting, pipeline and service activities, we can better meet the changing needs of our customers and create long-lasting, fruitful business relationships."

Building on the overwhelming success of Maximizer Enterprise 9 which has been selected by more than 2000 small and medium-sized enterprises since its launch in November 2005, Maximizer Enterprise 9.5 delivers powerful advancements designed to further empower the employees of small and medium-sized enterprises including:

Business in 2006 Imperative: Mobile Access to Customer Information

Introducing MaxMobile: a native application for the Windows Mobile platform. The new application enables Maximizer Enterprise 9.5 users to access their customer data using Windows Mobile compatible mobile devices such as the Palm Treo 700w, Dell Axim X51v and the HP iPAQ.

With the introduction of MaxMobile, Maximizer Enterprise offers four different options for mobile access to customer information and supports all leading mobile platforms including Palm, Research In Motion BlackBerry and now Windows Mobile. Access choices include:

Wireless Employee Portal – allowing traveling employees to access customer information in real-time through the wireless browser on BlackBerry, Palm Treo, or Windows Mobile and Windows SmartPhone devices.

Maximizer Enterprise Employee Portal – allowing mobile employees to log into a secure portal and carry out typical daily tasks from any Internet connection in their familiar desktop user interface.

Enterprise Link for Palm: allowing mobile employees with Palm devices to quickly synchronize the information from Maximizer Enterprise with Palm devices and ensure that vital customer information is captured during meetings on the road.

Liz Herbert, Analyst at Forrester Research writes, “Field sales and service professionals who rely on laptops to store important data about prospects and accounts often have stale information when they show up for an appointment, and they can face long delays before they can update their CRM system with the latest details or to-dos…While many firms alleviate these problems through phones, pagers, and mobile email, technologically sophisticated firms use mobile CRM.“(”Extend CRM Value With Mobility”, Forrester Research, Inc., June 2006.)

Tools for Enhanced Staff Productivity

Maximizer Enterprise Toolbar in Microsoft Outlook: Maximizer Enterprise users can now preview email messages from within the system using the Maximizer Enterprise preview pane. They can also take advantage of one button save of contacts and email messages from Outlook into the Maximizer Enterprise database and synchronize contacts, tasks and calendar appointments between the two applications.

“Email is a pervasive business communication tool and Microsoft Outlook is perhaps the most commonly utilized application in corporate and small business environments,“ said Brian Tracy, Founder, Brian Tracy International. “Empowering your staff to take advantage of the applications they are familiar with while consistently capturing customer profile information is a great step towards stronger user adoption resulting in improved day-to-day productivity and profitability. It makes a lot of sense for email and CRM systems to work closely together and with Maximizer Enterprise, that is what we are achieving in our business.”

Drag and Drop Organizational Charts: enable sales and service professionals to visualize customer organizational hierarchies and relationships in easy to update charts.

Email Campaign Response Management: marketers and sales people can quickly determine who has responded to marketing campaigns for follow-up while the lead is still hot.

Instant Service Case Creation: service personnel can save time and accelerate time-to-response with instant case creation based on incoming email messages.

Out-of-the Box Integration: provide staff with a comprehensive look at the entire customer relationship by bringing in information from existing corporate systems. Maximizer Enterprise 9.5 features out-of-the-box integration to common business systems including the latest version of Microsoft Office, QuickBooks and Lotus Notes.

Advanced Customization Suite: Maximizer Enterprise 9.5 features extensive end-user configuration tools which make the creation of a new, searchable field as simple as adding a new folder in Outlook. With the Maximizer Enterprise Advanced Customization Suite, IT staff can quickly link the system with popular financial software packages such as Great Plains or tightly map the system to unique, company-specific business processes.

Support for the Latest Microsoft Technologies

As a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, Maximizer Software is committed to offering its customers the ability to harness the power of the latest Microsoft technologies including Microsoft SQL Server Standard and Enterprise for maximum flexibility. With Maximizer Enterprise 9.5, companies looking to deploy SQL Server functionality in a smaller, workgroup setting are able to take advantage of new support for Microsoft SQL Server Workgroup.

Maximizer Enterprise 9.5 is also Microsoft Vista, Office 2007 and Internet Explorer 7 ready.

“With Maximizer Enterprise 9.5 we have delivered small and medium-sized enterprises a tightly-integrated sales, marketing, customer service and support suite that is functionally more powerful than SalesLogix and Microsoft CRM but can be implemented as quickly as hosted systems like Salesforce.com - and is much more appropriately priced for the SMB space,” said Tom Bennett, Office of the President and Chief Technology Officer, Maximizer Software Inc. “This newest generation extends the power of the suite to include even more options for mobile access to customer information and productivity enhancements such as deeper Outlook integration.
