Datacom is looking for suitable acquisition targets to expand its presence in SA and ACT. CEO, Michael Browne, was currently assessing strengths and weaknesses of companies with similar strategies.
"We are attracted to IT services companies that have been working with quality clients over a period of time," he said.
"We also look for the track record of performance, the skills they are providing and the mesh of those skills to our organisation and client base."
Browne said Datacom currently had eight active clients in the ACT and SA but would like to see that number grow.
"We see a lot of growth happening in those markets and believe there is an opportunity to offer customers more choice," he said.
Browne also has plans for Datacom to get more involved with providing identity management services and is targeting Federal Government business..
