Infotronics overhauls dealer site

Software distributor, Infotronics, is close to launching a new website and has refreshed its corporate branding.

Marketing manager, Sara Williams, said the upgraded site would allow resellers to put together an online shopping cart with individual purchase number and buy price, as well as pay online and track orders.

Partners can also expect to see an increase in the amount of marketing material available online with more white papers and support information. The distributor is now sending login details to its 600 active resellers. The new site will go live by the end of this month. The second phase of the website rollout was scheduled for three months' time, Williams said. Additional functionality would include a reseller forum. Infotronics channel manager, Anne Waterhouse, said the new online look was prompted by additions to the distributor's vendor line-up. It had also updated its corporate logo.

To help boost coverage of its new products, the home page would be used to showcase vendors periodically doing the year, she said.

Technical director, Phil Lancaster, said the distributor was on track to exceed 80 per cent growth this financial year.
