Adelaide-based PC manufacturer and distributor, Leader Computer Systems, has assembled a new line of PCs aimed at the corporate sector. The series will be branded as Leader SlimPCs.
Director, Theo Kristoris, said the company had not previously targeted the corporate market. It had approached resellers to discover what features they wanted to offer corporate customers.
"We want to continue our growth in the PC market and the corporate sector is one area that we've haven't been too strong with," he said. "It's taken us six months to survey resellers. They wanted cool and quiet case designs as well as quality components."
There are three models in the Leader SlimPC range. The 330 Value will be powered by an Intel Celeron processor, with the 630 Executive and 930 Professional featuring Pentiums. All models include Kingston memory, LG optical drives and MSI motherboards.
Kristoris hoped to turn over 300 units by the end of the month via its current reseller base. Until the end of June, resellers will receive a $20 Coles Myer voucher for every SlimPC sold.
