Western Australia-based integrator, ASG Group, has appointed Tim Selfridge as general manager for the northern region. He replaces Jega Rajan, who held the position for two years.
CEO, Geoff Lewis, said Rajan had left to seek other career opportunities. The company chose Selfridge due to his vast outsourcing managed services experience. He previously worked at HP as director of strategic outsourcing for the south pacific region. Prior to that, Selfridge was the senior outsourcing sales executive for Oracle. His resume also consists of positions at EDS in Australia and America.
"He knows the business inside out and that's the kind of person that we need to drive it even further," Lewis said. "We are going well but we want to take the company to the next level."
Selfridge will be based in Sydney. His responsibilities include sales and pre-sales support as well as growing ASG organically and by acquisition in ACT, NSW and QLD regions.
"We are looking for any company that sits in the same market such as the infrastructure space and that suit the guidelines we have set for ourselves," Lewis said. "They have to be a strategic business, financially stable and possess the ability to produce a strong client base that we'll be able to leverage and provide other services to."
In March, ASG also recruited Murray Rosa to the position of general manager of the western region. He replaced COO, Colin Leman, who has retired.
