Melbourne-based distributor, Multimedia Technology (MMT), has announced a new partnership with Linksys and engin that will enable it to target resellers with its off-the-shelf VoIP bundle.
MMT will distribute engin-branded Linksys routers and analogue voice adaptors. Previously, Ingram Micro was the sole distributor of bundled Linksys/engin VoIP products. MMT has been a distributor of Linksys standalone products for several years.
"We are very happy to take on Australia's leading VoIP provider," MMT business development manager, Mark Gent, said. "Having a bundled product on offer within the Linksys range gives our customers a chance to partner with engin and become a one-stop-shop for VoIP solutions."
Gent said MMT would target a range of resellers, from general to large retailers. Its smaller size would be in contrast broad-based players such as Ingram, he said.
MMT would also refrain from setting a minimum order quantity for resellers.
This was a common stipulation when purchasing direct from engin, Gent said.
