ACA to distribute Maxtor hard drives
Maxtor has signed ACA Pacific to distribute the company’s full portfolio of products in the Australian enterprise storage market. ACA Pacific will market and sell Maxtor’s IDE and enterprise drives, such as MaXLine and Atlas, and the OneTouch range of external hard drives. It joins Ingram Micro and Easy Integrated as Maxtor’s distributors. Maxtor’s country manager for A/NZ, Craig Davis, said the partnership would create important new opportunities in the growing Australian enterprise storage market. “Nearline storage using high capacity SATA drives are key growth markets for enterprise storage in Australia because of growing demand to store static data,” he said. ACA Pacific director, HB Tan, said the Maxtor products would substantially increase the choice it could offer customers.
