NSW-based communications specialist, Integ, has rebadged its Lanlink business in Queensland. Now known as Integ, the integrator has also installed a state manager to head up the operation. Integ CEO, Ian Poole, said the company had kept the Lanlink brand in Queensland while building a data practice within Integ and voice within Lanlink.
"Now we have similar partners, customer base and basic offer so the integration of the businesses and name change makes a lot of sense," he said.
Poole said the Lanlink business was growing at 20 per cent since it was acquired in November 2003. "Sydney is still our number one market but there's much more growth in Queensland," he said. "Government plays heavily in that but even in the enterprise we're seeing a lot of activity."
The Queensland operation will be headed up by John Brizee. He brings more than 25 years' industry experience.
