Education reseller, Channel Connect, has launched a new financial facility and reseller program for its managed services portfolio.
Executive director, Peter Low, said the company signed up with Focus Capital Group to provide financial facilities for partners, particularly those taking on The Cavalry franchise opportunity it announced last month.
Known as Cavalry Leasing, it would provide partners with services such as online quoting, reporting and franchise leasing arrangements.
"We have set up a full gamut of leasing options that are suited to different vertical markets such as education, retail or corporate," he said. "If partners sell a box with a lease, they know when the lease runs out. They also have the opportunity to generate more business with the customer by offering different types of solution."
The reseller program would provide partners with access to financial services, training, technical and sales support, Low said.
The company wants to add more resellers to the program.
Low said he would be interested in working with resellers that wanted to build service skills.
"We are looking for typical resellers that move boxes and are looking for extra revenue streams in the services department. They would fit well with us," he said. "As that arm strengthens and the relationship with key vendors continues to grow, we will offer franchise opportunities to the right partners."
