NetIQ has transferred two US staff to spearhead a new partner certification program and raise its general level of channel activity.
The certification, which has already been rolled out by in the US, represents the first time local resellers will be able to provide services around its products. Kimberly Martin will oversee the program as senior project manager.
"The local push to partner with resellers that can sell and deliver services is a strategic move to maximise revenue opportunities emerging in the security management and IT service management markets," she said.
"NetIQ is looking to expand its channel base significantly and one of my first tasks is to identify new resellers."
Martin said she would also work closely with NetIQ's existing channel partners to identify areas that might require additional training.
Joining Martin from its US office is senior technical consultant, Hafid Saba. He will be responsible for providing consulting services to a number of large its AppManager customers and also work with Martin to help partners develop service delivery opportunities.
