Local Microsoft CRM integrator, Snapdragon Consulting, is preparing a range of pre-packaged CRM solutions and related modules -- the latter of which are destined for the channel.
The news coincides with its appointment of Microsoft, Alcatel and IBM Global Services veteran, Michael Harmelink, as its business development manager. Snapdragon director, Guy Riddle, said Harmelink would help him across three core areas -- taking a range of pre-packaged CRM solutions to market; developing an ongoing range of CRM add-on modules; and a focus on vertical markets.
"Over the years, we've found that when it comes to implementing a new financial package or ERP system, customers typically know what they want it to do," he said. "CRM is a more fluid thing and unless a business already has a lot of experience with it, they often don't know what they want.
"We have designed these packaged versions of our software, which can be built upon at a later date, precisely for businesses like that. We're trying to get away from spending three months analysing a business and the next six months building what it thinks it wants."
While Snapdragon would continue to sell the pre-packaged CRM bundles to its user base on an exclusive basis, Riddle said the add-on modules would be made available for all CRM resellers to deploy with their own customers.
Microsoft certified resellers would probably be offered an additional price discount, Riddle said.
The first add-on would be made available next month.
Further modules, which can be trialed for free, would appear on Snapdragon's website on a monthly basis thereafter.
