Resellers of the F5 Networks platform are set to have greater access to local training courses through third-party training start-up, Red Education.
The two parties have inked a deal to provide authorised training programs via F5's distributors, Ingram Micro and Firewall Systems.
Red Education principal, and former senior network consultant at F5, Daniel Storey, said demand had played a hand in the formal creation of the company.
"The demand for training has really taken off in recent times, so after providing training for the past three years on an ad hoc basis, we have formalised the arrangement," he said. "We are offering a range of courses across Asia-Pacific."
Courses are held at set times across the year in different regions. They can be tailored to the needs of individual customers or partners and, depending on the circumstances, can also be held outside of the regular training calendar, Storey said.
About 75 per cent of people attending the training program were staff from F5 Networks resellers, he said. The remainder were technical staff from end-user businesses.
