AppSense is looking to boost its channel and integrator partners as the security vendor has seen a surge in sales over the past 12 months.
The vendor which set up shop in Melbourne in 2003 has just hired two regional mangers to push sales in the channel. One, Justin Moss, will push the company deeper into the NSW, ACT and Qld, and the other, Gina Binetti will look after Vic, SA, TAS and WA.
More personnel would come onboard in the coming months, director of sales, Sean Walsh, said.
Since launch, the company has had one distributor - iTx, and a series of Certified Security Partners or CSPs.
The CSPs are structured at three levels: Global, with partners such as HP or EDS; national with partners including DiData and Volante; and local, with the likes of Clarity and Logitech.
"We are only going to be successful one way, and that is through the channel," Walsh said.
In the past calendar year the company saw local growth increase by 98 per cent.
"It is all down to working with local partners," he said.
And 2006, which had started off with a rush, would be no different, Walsh said.
"We need more channel partners and especially integrators," he said.
