Allot aims at integrators with new software

Traffic management vendor, Allot Communications, plans to target systems integrators with the launch of NetXplorer, a networking management software application that complements the company's suite of NetEnforcer appliances.

Allot A/NZ sales manager, Jonathon Gordon said the vendor was looking for a small number of channel partners to sell and implement the new software.

"It is a great opportunity for resellers to get the product to market because as far as we know, nothing else like this exists," he said.

NetXplorer allows users to monitor and manage network usage and traffic over enterprise wide deployments. Gordon said the software was well suited to integrators and ISP telcos that service high end enterprise.

"We are after quality, not quantity," he said. "We are not just looking for box movers but for partners who will bring a level of expertise."

Allot's distributes its wares through Channelworx and TechPlus. Its Empowered channel program provides partners with technical assistance, training and preferential pricing.

"The margin in this type of product is not only in the physical sale but the implementation of a service as whole," Gordon said. "If integrators or resellers are looking to augment what they are doing with the service driven approach then this product is perfect for them."
