Wood leaves RSA for Patchlink

Comments

Management software vendor, PatchLink, has appointed Chris Wood as its first A/NZ sales director to put greater focus on channel direction.

He said his aim was to boost revenue and enhance growth by bringing on more partners.

Wood highlighted those within desktop integration and management skills as targets.

"PatchLink recently moved from selling direct to a channel model and my background is strong in channel sales," he said. "It's important to get the right partners.

"The key to my role is interacting with partners and understanding the market."

Wood spent the past four years with RSA Security as A/NZ alliance and channel manager.

His RSA duties will now be fulfilled by A/NZ general manager of channels, Gavin Jarvis.

Wood's resume also includes stints with Macromedia and FirmwareDesign.
