Sydney-based integrator, Integ Communications, is providing a technical service desk for LongReach, an Australian manufacturer and supplier of telecommunications equipment.
It would be responsible for the management of first call support as well as second level product support and escalation to LongReach engineers, Integ CEO, Ian Poole, said.
Terms of the deal have not been disclosed. LongReach deals with about 220 local businesses and government sites but also has customers in Europe and Asia-Pacific.
The deal follows a similar managed services deal cut by the ASX-listed integrator last year to support the enterprise communication customers of Marconi Australia.
"Managed services are a growth area for us and revenue has really started to increase," Poole said. "It was virtually nothing 2-3 years ago but it now accounts for 5 per cent of our revenue."
