Aurion's HRMS upgrade features sophisticated forms customisation

<p>BRISBANE, February 28. Aurion Corporation announced today the new version 9.3.00 of its HRMS application, which will permit forms customisation to an extent previously only available through large-scale ERP vendors but at a fraction of the cost.</p>
<p>National Sales Manager, Paul MacRae, says the ability to customise the look and feel of forms for individual business units reflects Aurion's leadership in 'buy software once and have it supported forever' methodologies.</p>
<p>Other enhancements to version 9.3.00 include improvements to timekeeper modules, which are now enabled for automatic backpay for timesheet-based employees, as well as enhanced management control; and in new workflow processes.</p>
<p>"We have re-engineered workflow processes for our self service environment, adding greater flexibility to our solution,” said MacRae. "These improvements ensure managers have on-demand access to more, targeted information in an easy-to-interpret format."</p>
<p>He added: "One practical example is that area managers can now have personalised staff reports covering only their line staff sent directly to their in-boxes. This replaces master reports that covered all employees and required searching through multiple screens to find the relevant information subset.</p>
<p>"In addition, managers and staff using the self-service environment will welcome a single 'sign on', reducing pressures on, and costs of, helpdesk assistance."</p>
<p>Another topical enhancement will see continued focus on 'Software as a Service' (SaaS) where the company "will cut integration and support costs" through an increase in web services.</p>
<p>MacRae said: “This release features 'look and feel' improvements including style sheet choices that our clients can select for Self Service."</p>
<p>Still to come is new payroll functionality for the 'Not for Profit / charities' sector, handling their unique FBT requirements to support major new installations; and further improvements to contractor management, SaaS and invoicing will be released in June this year.</p>
<p>Aurion will also introduce the concept of rolling patches to reduce user deployment effort.</p>
