Storage hardware vendor, Maxtor, has unveiled a new partner program providing new resources, support and rewards to resellers.
A/NZ country manager, Edwin Tien, said the Maxtor VIP program would supply partners with product information, news, technical support, online training, promotions and online access to sales and marketing tools. The new program also includes a rewards scheme, with each dealer accumulating points on a MasterCard debit card. Points would be redeemed for Maxtor products at the end of the quarter.
Members can also join the vendor's VIP Council, which offers news on upcoming products and programs.
Tien said the rewards program would run until the end of June but was only available to partners in Sydney and Melbourne.
"We want to see what type of reaction we get from partners," he said. "If the program is successful, then we will consider repeating it later in the year."
