Sydney-based creator of spatial Business Intelligence (BI) software, Integeo, has signed two local resellers but is still on the hunt for more in the Australian market.
Part of the Forge Group, Integeo products had previously been sold primarily to government by sister company, Forge Data Solutions.
Integeo CEO, Peter Rossiter, said the company needed to expand and was currently training two resellers.
"We have talked about it a lot but we have really neglected non-government commercial opportunities within Australia - particularly because the US has always been a much bigger opportunity for us," Rossiter said.
Integeo would now focus back on its local market. Rossiter described one of the resellers already signed as a long-term partner; the other was a newer entrant to the market but had BI strengths.
"We have been looking for resellers with a significant BI practice but we want to commit a lot of time and energy into working with them, particularly in the early stages of the relationship," Rossiter said.
"We will also seek to work with them on early opportunities because we want them to be successful. There is nothing like dollars in the pocket to further galvanise partners into action."
