Niche networking security distributor, inTechnology Australia, has signed up to carry Cyber GateKeeper endpoint integrity products from InfoExpress. The move will strengthen its offering to existing partners.
Sales and marketing director, Mark Winter, said the new addition would allow resellers to expand the capabilities of its core Funk Software endpoint integrity products.
The Cyber GateKeeper products were designed to provide security policy auditing and access control management across all systems connecting to the network.
InfoExpress was one of the first companies to bring out a solution for the Funk platform, he said.
Both vendors had partnered to develop open standards architecture and worked within the Trusted Computing Group.
This had resulted in an Integrity Measurement Collector and Integrity Measurement
Verifier, which he said tied the two product lines together.
"This working relationship between our two key vendor products will be key to allowing end-users to use 802.1x for authentication," Winter said.
"The standards-based approach permits interoperability across a wide variety of existing vendor offerings and ensures scalability to future technologies."
inTechnology is the first local distributor appointed by InfoExpress as part of its global rollout of a Channel Alliance Partner Program.
It planned to introduce product bundles featuring the Cyber GateKeeper solution along with its 802.1x and Radius technology offerings, Winter said.
The distributor would also hold a series of channel training programs for those interested in taking on the Cyber GateKeeper products in January.
