Citrix meets customer demand with three new appointments

<p>Sydney – 8 December 2005 – Citrix Systems, the global leader in access infrastructure, has announced three new appointments to its team in Australia and New Zealand (ANZ). Rob Willis, Lance Phillips and Johanne Wilson have been hired to focus on business growth by building relationships with key customers, partners and government to help continue the momentum built in 2005.</p>
<p>“In our Q3 results this year, Citrix made a 21 per cent growth in revenue compared to the same period in 2004. We’ve seen huge growth, both globally and in the ANZ region,” said Gary O’Brien, Citrix area vice president ANZ.</p>
<p>“With our new team we are looking to continue building on the growth that we have been experiencing over the last few years, 2006 is looking good.”</p>
<p>Rob Willis has been appointed director, enterprise sales and is responsible for leading the region’s enterprise sales team and driving business opportunities in ANZ across corporate and government sectors.</p>
<p>Prior to joining Citrix, Willis was senior vice president Optical Services for IP Networks in San Francisco and he has also worked with Nortel Networks.</p>
<p>Lance Phillips takes on the role of senior enterprise account manager. He is responsible for developing Citrix’s business opportunities and partner relationships in NSW as well as managing customer accounts from proposal to implementation.</p>
<p>With 20 years experience in the IT industry, Phillips joins Citrix from Dimension Data where he was the NSW enterprise manager.</p>
<p>Johanne Wilson becomes an enterprise account manager and will focus on account development and growing the Citrix business in Victoria.</p>
<p>Wilson previously worked as the NSW sales lead for Hewlett Packard Public Sector and has gained over nine years experience in the IT Industry, focusing on managed services and infrastructure solutions.</p>
