Dicker Data will launch the next phase of its recently launched partner website next month to give resellers access to real-time accounting, order placement and tracking.
Stage two – due to go live on August 4 – will include account statements and event information. Full ordering and tracking will follow on August 16.
Phase one of the site went live last month and included an advanced product search, order tracking, reseller profile creation and downloadable catalogues and order forms. Specific vendor login and product return facilities are still in the pipeline.
General manager, Angela Coronica, said the revamp was part of her remit to ensure the company’s long-term goals are met.
“We are now able to provide a choice of reliable engagement with Dicker Data, though some resellers still prefer to call,” she said. “There will be lot more focus ahead on marketing and communicating with our customers.”
Coronica took the helm of Dicker Data in April to allow directors Fiona and David Dicker to take a more strategic role in the company’s future.
As well as overseeing the website overhaul, Coronica has ramped up the distributor’s relationship with NEC by hiring a dedicated business manager, Vanessa Gilham.
She has also appointed the first male to work on the Dicker sales floor.
