<p>SUNNYVALE, Calif. – November 22, 2005 -- Network Appliance, Inc. (NASDAQ:NTAP), a leading provider of enterprise storage solutions, today celebrated 10 years as a publicly traded company on NASDAQ. The company’s IPO was on November 21, 1995, and Tom Mendoza, president of NetApp, rang the opening bell at NASDAQ in New York today, along with Dan Warmenhoven, CEO and David Hitz and James Lau, both founders and executive vice presidents.</p>

<p>Since November 1995, NetApp has grown from 100 to over 4,000 employees, achieved nearly a $2 billion annual revenue run rate and grown at almost 30% year over year. The company has been listed on the NASDAQ 100 and in the S&P 500 Index since 1999. A majority of the original management team that took NetApp public still leads the company today, and the company has earned a spot in the top 50 on the FORTUNE 100 Best Companies to Work For list each of the past three years.</p>
<p>In recognition of her service since 1995, NetApp employee, Laura Ellgen, Human Resources Manager from the NetApp office in Research Triangle Park, NC, was invited by company executives to participate in the opening bell ceremonies.</p>
