Aurion strengthens management team

<p>BRISBANE, November 8. Brisbane based, Australian HRMS software company, Aurion Corporation has strengthened its management team with the appointment of two senior professionals.</p>
<p>Paul MacRae, who founded email filtering company MessageLabs in Australia, has joined as National Sales Manager with responsibility for Marketing and Sales. He joins Commercial Manager Frank Gilmartin, who was previously at Carter Holt Harvey in senior roles within their packaging business division for the past seven years.</p>
<p>Mr MacRae says: “It’s exciting to grow our Sales and Marketing capability through the development of a tele-account and pre-sales team, which complements a Business Development team located in Sydney, Brisbane, Canberra and Melbourne.”</p>
<p>He adds: “It’s great to see an Australian niche player doing so well against internationally based competition. It’s a nice twist after five years with a global player to be able to support local companies on a local basis and know you can help define a strategic direction for Aurion. My long experience in Managed Services adds value to the growth we are seeing in our hosted application business.”</p>
