Sydney-based storage integrator, EnStor, has appointed Terry Semple as its new managing director. The position was previously held by Bart Steins, who has now taken up the role of technical director.
Semple has been with EnStor for six years as a sales executive and said he has extensive experience in storage design. His main focus will be expanding the business and implementing marketing strategies.
"I will be analysing the company's current strengths and weaknesses, correcting any areas that have been under-utilised or under-resourced," Semple said, "The business has grown to a point where it needs more working capital."
Semple said he plans to recruit more staff and open new premises in Brisbane, and possibly Adelaide, within the next six months.
As part of the company's plans to expand it has added ADIC, CommVault, FalconStor and NeoScale to its vendor list.
It would also look to raise its profile through more effective marketing.
"We previously relied on inbound referrals but I want to have more of a presence in the marketplace," he said. "We intend to do a lot of presentations, training days and workshops."
