Networking and security distributor, Lan 1, has signed a deal to carry products for VoIP provider, VegaStream.
Lan 1 managing director, Daniel Lee, said the deal would allow the company to broaden its range of VoIP products and services offered to partners. Due to the current buzz around VoIP, the company has high revenue expectations.
"With the convergence of voice and data, systems integrators, ISPs, MSPs and telcos are keen to add VoIP to their portfolios," Lee said. "The VegaStream gateways enable them to do that. It's accompanying technology areas like storage, security and networking."
VegaStream regional sales and marketing manager, Chris Papaioanou, said the company chose Lan 1 because of its training programs and complementary product range. The company already has resellers and system integrators but this was its first distributor deal. Lan 1 is offering installation, configuration and support services, along with product training seminars and technical support for resellers.
