Snapdragon Consulting boss, Guy Riddle, has become the first Australian to be awarded Microsoft's Most Valuable Professionals (MVP) for work in the CRM user community. According to the vendor, MVP status recognises experts who actively contribute to creating a robust, interactive user community for its products.
Recipients must be nominated by their peers or a Microsoft employee to qualify and keep their status for one year. Riddle is one of 2800 receiving the honour worldwide this year, and one of five globally to receive the accolade in CRM. His award recognised his role in creating and maintaining the www.mscrm.com.au web portal for Australian CRM users, as well as founding and running the monthly CRM User Group forum. He has also conducted all Microsoft's CRM product training courses nationally during the past two years.
Riddle said he found it rewarding and challenging to foster understanding of this platform among the growing user community: "I'm proud to be recognised for my contributions," he said.
