Toshiba dealers have fun in the sun

Raucous antics and jingles were the order of the day at Toshiba's recent annual TargetBusters channel conference in Coolum, Queensland. More than 120 of its partners took part in the event, which was themed: "Engage - the Power of Partnership". The itinerary saw partners dive into a range of interactive team activities, from balloon wiggle races and wrapping competitions, to collecting marshmallows from bowls of flour with human wheelbarrows. Partners also had a go at creating their own product jingle, with one team using the haka to support their tune. One of the highlights of the three-day event was a gala dinner, where Toshiba presented awards. Channel Partner of the Year for the northern region went to Harris Technology, while Commander took southern honours. Retail Sales Growth awards in the northern and southern regions went to Myer and Dick Smith respectively. Harvey Norman also scored the award for Retailer of the Year. Ingram Micro took out Distributor of the Year. Several individual awards were also handed out for sales achievers in each state.
