Olympus wins three TIPA awards

Olympus took out a trifecta of wins at the 2004 Technical Image Press Association (TIPA) Awards.

The company won the gongs for Best Digital Budget Compact Camera, Best High-End Lens, and Best 35mm Compact Camera Award. It will receive the awards at a ceremony to be held during the Photokina 2004 exhibition in Cologne, Germany, in September.

TIPA is an independent association of writers and editors representing 31 publications in 12 European nations.

Olympus Australia marketing communications manager, Bill Andreas, said it was an honour for Olympus to win three categories at the awards.

The three categories representing digital imaging, film and lens were a testament to Olympus’ products, he said.
