Oki kicked off the launch of its new C9000 series of digital colour multifunction devices by signing on as a jumper sponsor for the St George/Illawarra rugby league team.
The vendor held a half-day event for resellers earlier this month to provide information about its new devices as well as education and training options. The company also announced it had changed its name to Oki Printing Solutions.
After the initial session at the company's local headquarters in Sydney, partners indulged in an afternoon beverage, then headed down to Oki Jubilee Stadium to meet two St George players - Mathew Head and Reece Simmonds (inset). Both signed team shirts and posters for a lengthy queue of supporters, including Oki's managing director, Stead Denton.
The ground was redeveloped with funds provided by the vendor in 2003.
