Optima has named Colmac as its inaugural Most Improved Business Partner of the Year during a recent gala dinner in Sydney.
According to the computer manufacturer, the Toowoomba-based dealer had achieved considerable growth in sales and service delivery, recently beating Dell on a major financial institution deal.
"We were surprised to see it double its sales figures over the last financial year - the incentive really worked," Optima channel sales manager, William Hamzey, said.
Colmac managing director, Greg McKeon said it was excited to have received the award. "We have always found Optima to be a reputable company, our relationship with them is strong and we are extremely proud to be associated with them," he said.
Optima also handed Easy Internet Services its National Business Partner of the Year and Queensland Partner awards for generating the most sales of all business partners. Both winners will receive trips to Gallipoli, Turkey.
New Partner of the Year was awarded to ACT-based reseller, First Point Australia. Additional state winners also recognised were Coastal Business Machines (Tasmania), Data Parts Shepparton (Victoria) and Intouch Office Technology (NSW).
