HP’s Imaging and Printing Group appoints new consumer sales manager and market development manager

<p>Sydney, Australia, 23 June 2004 – Hewlett Packard Australia (HP) has appointed two new employees to its Imaging and Printing division.</p>
<p>Maria Russo, National Consumer Sales and Marketing Manager for Australia, and Irma Van Leeuwen, Market Development Manager for Colour Business Printers.</p>
<p>Prior to joining HP, Maria held numerous sales management roles within a range of high-profile organisations, such as Village Roadshow. Maria has extensive sales experience, with over 15 years in sales and management positions. She brings with her, long established relationships with existing retailers and a strong business development drive.</p>
<p>“Maria’s extensive consumer experience, combined with strong business development and management skills will strengthen HP’s position in the consumer space,” said Rebekah O’Flaherty, Vice President &amp; General Manager, Imaging &amp; Printing Group, HP South Pacific.</p>
<p>Maria will be responsible for HP’s consumer segment sales and marketing groups, to deliver on HP’s consumer strategies across digital photography and digital entertainment.</p>
<p>Irma comes to HP with five years experience in printing and imaging product and business management. She also has extensive experience in channel marketing through her previous positions held at Epson, 3M and Imation.</p>
<p>“Irma’s previous experience as a product manager in the printing market will hold her in good stead for the transition into the role of Market Development Manager for HP’s Colour Business Printing,” said O’Flaherty.</p>
<p>Irma will be responsible for project management, distribution, pricing and development of marketing programs across HP’s colour business printing.</p>
<p>Irma holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree with a major in Marketing.</p>
