Decideware targets $US3bn American market with its Supplier Relationship Management tools

<p>SYDNEY, September 22. Decideware Pty Ltd, an Australian vendor with a suite of 'on demand' business software applications, has engaged a Houston-based marketing firm to target the $US3 billion North American market for supplier management applications.</p>
<p>Initially Marketech Corp. will launch a US-wide campaign to promote Decideware’s Relationship Optimizer, an on-demand tool for Supplier Relationship Management (SRM).</p>
<p>Decideware Managing Director, Richard Benyon, says: "SRM is the next CRM!”</p>
<p>He explains: “Our US research confirms the industry belief that incremental returns from Customer Relationship Management tools have become disappointing, and now that it’s a mature discipline any future benefits are likely to be scarce.</p>
<p>“Accordingly, many US companies are turning towards SRM as a means to
better control returns from their significant investments in managing
supplies – SRM is the next CRM.”</p>
<p>Benyon believes the partnership with Marketech gives Decideware an excellent channel to promote Relationship Optimizer into an aggressive market, which is constantly on the lookout for better ways to improve financial performance and competitiveness.</p>
<p>Decideware’s research shows that some companies spend up to 50% of sales revenue on procuring goods and services.</p>
