Interwoven Appoints New Managing Director of Australia/New Zealand

<p>Accomplished Software Industry Executive to Oversee Interwoven’s Strong Regional Growth in the Rapidly Growing Enterprise Content Management Marketplace</p>
<p>Sydney, Australia, September 13, 2005 – Interwoven, Inc. (Nasdaq: IWOV), provider of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions for business, today announced the appointment of Christopher Lynch to the position of managing director, Interwoven, Australia/New Zealand. Lynch brings a wealth of experience to the position including more than a decade spent in executive sales, channel, and operational management roles with companies including Hummingbird, Norada, and Software Spectrum.</p>
<p>“With his extensive career in senior management positions, Lynch brings an enormous amount of depth and leadership to Interwoven,” said James Murray, vice president, Asia Pacific Operations, Interwoven. “His proven track record in growing direct and indirect sales organisations combined with his extensive knowledge of the local marketplace makes him ideal in leading the Interwoven team as we continue to increase our leadership in the legal industry, as well as expand into new vertical markets.”</p>
<p>Prior to joining Interwoven, Lynch was the managing director for Hummingbird’s Australia/New Zealand operations for over five years, starting his career at the company as the national sales manager. While at Hummingbird, Lynch was instrumental in growing the business by 25 percent year-over-year across key vertical markets including manufacturing, government, enterprise, and legal. Further, Lynch was key in expanding Hummingbird’s sales team and partner channel, resulting in strong market presence, particularly in the utilities and financial services markets.</p>
