Coca-Cola Amatil selects LANSA and KAZ as Technology Partners

<p>Sydney, Australia — August 15, 2005 — Soft drink giant Coca-Cola Amatil (CCA) has selected LANSA and KAZ Technology Services as key technology partners to develop new strategic IT solutions that will drive the CCA business forward.</p>
<p>Paul Harnisch, Applications Portfolio Manager, Operations &amp; Logistics at Coca-Cola Amatil, explained, ”The first project we used LANSA on was a manufacturing reliability reporting system and despite the learning curve the team went through, we were able to deliver it on time and in full. The next project to be developed using LANSA was a web based national Driver Payments System (DPS) which we would not have been able to effectively deliver without the LANSA toolset."</p>
<p>A third project, Promotions Modeling, is also under development. This is a browser based, graphical application which provides a platform for determining a mutually profitable promotional program for CCA and its major retail customers.</p>
<p>Peter McNamee, chief information officer at Coca-Cola Amatil, said, “LANSA fits in our drive to get IT back under our own control and to improve IT’s value to the business.
