Computer accessories distributor, Anyware, is hopeful its latest vendor agreement will open up new markets with its range of note-taking devices.
Anyware's joint managing director, Victor Lee, identified the handwriting conversion capabilities of Israeli-based Pegasus Technologies as a key differentiator.
He said it had already taken the distributor into new vertical markets including medicine and banking.
Anyware will promote the PC Notes Taker device it to its reseller and mass merchant partners via mail-shots and its bimonthly product catalogue.
According to the manufacturer, PC Notes Taker is the world's first device that transfers natural handwriting on any surface onto a PC in real time. Based on an electronic pen, it displays notes, memos or drawings and stores the image for future use.
The inclusion of Microsoft OneNote image capture software would also be a good selling point, Lee said.
