Sydney, Australia – July 5, 2005 - Fuji Xerox Printers (FXP), the leader in printing innovation, today announced the launch of its WorkCentre product range, its first offering in the multi-functional machine category. The WorkCentre entry-level 220 and fully featured 222 and 228 machines, enhance FXP’s well-renowned laser printer portfolio to provide customers a broader offering of printing solutions.

The WorkCentre A4 monochrome multi-function machines (MFMs) incorporate the high quality print technology FXP is renowned for in its stand-alone laser units, in a high-speed full document management solution. The new product set enables users to save valuable time, space and money through enhanced productivity and business efficiencies. The advanced WorkCentre 222 and 228 deliver the versatility and convenience of black and white printing, colour scanning, copying, faxing and emailing capability all in one machine.

Commenting on the announcement, Paul Harman, Operations Manager for FXP in Australia and New Zealand said, “Our print innovations are driving the way in which users across all market categories, from home to the largest enterprise, are implementing print solutions. Today’s announcement reinforces this approach as FXP delivers the high quality prints of traditionally more expensive and larger units, into the lower end of the market.”

“We are seeing the demands of customers increase to a point where fax, print, copy and scan capabilities are seen as business fundamentals for running their operations effectively. FXP’s multi-function solutions allow users to consolidate their hardware with simplicity and ease,” Harman concluded.

Priced from A$649 (ex GST), the WorkCentre 220/222/228 are ideal for small workgroups in small-to-medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and corporate or government offices and the SoHo market.
