Southern Cross Computer Systems has been named IBM's Business Partner of the Year for the third time in four years.
The systems integration group received the award for being judged the vendor's top X-Series Intel Server business partner.
Chief executive officer, Mark Kalmus, said winning again was a huge achievement.
"The award reflects our consistency and loyalty to the IBM brand and shows our continuity in maintaining our skill set in that part of the marketplace," he said. "The award is based both on the revenues achieved and on our technical and solutions-based approach to our joint customers."
Southern Cross customers include major telecommunications companies, the Victorian Government, medium-sized businesses and a number of universities. The award comes after the company opened its new 2000 square metre headquarters in Melbourne last month.
