LAN Systems has beaten off competition from 26 competitors in 13 countries to be crowned Cisco Distribution Partner of the Year in Asia-Pacific. The award was presented at the networking giant's annual partner summit in Vancouver earlier this month.
The Sydney-based distributor recorded 54 per cent year-on-year growth for its Cisco business, according to general manager, Wendy O'Keeffe. The company has 22 people in its Cisco team, headed by Tony Heywood.
"This award not only recognises the significant revenue growth we have achieved through Cisco sales, but also the support we offer resellers through value-added services like sales and marketing support as well as training," O'Keeffe said.
LAN Systems won the local Cisco gong in 1998.
