<p>- Two new appoints in its Data Centre Solutions group; One in Managed Services -</p>
<p>Sydney, 1 June 2005 – Dimension Data increases its capabilities in two of its biggest growth opportunities, with three new appointments in Australia. David Solsky, Ronnie Altit and Colin Andersen will focus on delivering value to customers and sustaining its commitment to partner relationships in the area of storage and managed services.</p>
<p>David Solsky joins Dimension Data to head up its Data Centre Solutions (DCS) group. As national business manager, he will be responsible for the general management of the group with a focus on providing strategic direction and execution and driving new product and service development within the storage area.</p>
<p>Mr Solsky’s appointment follows Dimension Data’s acquisition of SecureData Group’s business in December 2004, where he was both a director and co-founder, responsible for overseeing the technology strategy and product development of the business.</p>
<p>Also from the SecureData Group, Ronnie Altit joins the DSC team as national practice manager. With over 14 years experience in the IT industry, Ronnie will be responsible for establishing and growing Dimension Data as a leader in storage and data protection.</p>
<p>Colin Andersen has been appointed to the position of national database practice manager. Colin, former founder and CEO of New Zealand-based SQL Services, of which Dimension Data now owns a 51 per cent share, will report to Brett Oberstein, national business manager, managed services. Colin will be responsible for developing and managing the SQL Service practice in Australia as well as working with other regions to roll out these solutions to Dimension Data clients internationally.</p>
