Fundraiser means the mo has to go

Hummingbird Australia threw its weight behind the Leukaemia Foundation's World's Greatest Shave initiative with a fundraising event in Sydney earlier this month.

The vendor's technical director, Martin Gill, offered to lose his 30-year-old handlebar moustache for the cause. Representatives from LogicaCMG, RedDot and XcellerateIT were also on hand to support the charity. Overall, attendees raised $987.25 for the Foundation.

Hummingbird supplies software to the Leukaemia Foundation on a pro bono basis. Gill, who oversees the project, said it was now calling on channel partners to provide further pro bono implementation services for the group. n
