Secure Computing has launched SafeWord PremierAccess, a security product that positively identifies users through strong authentication, and controls access to protected resources using role-based authorisation. PremierAccess integrates with Web, VPN, wireless, Citrix, Windows, remote dial-up, Unix, SSH, Oracle, Novell, and other network applications. SafeWord’s integration with the active directory eliminates the need for Windows-based enterprises to manage multiple databases or implement complex directory synchronisation schemes. The system includes integrated support for the industry’s widest range of authenticators including passwords, tokens, digital certificates, smart cards and biometrics, as well as brokered authentication to external directories and RADIUS systems. The Universal Web Agent protects all Web servers and provides session management personalisation of content, and cross-domain single sign-on. Deployment capabilities allow Web-based users self-enrolment and automated deployment of digital certificates, software authenticators and client software.
