Juniper Networks launches new worldwide channel programme

<p><i><b>J-Partner offers best of both worlds from NetScreen and Juniper distribution structures</b></i></p>
<p>Juniper Networks today announced its J-Partner Programme, the framework for its global unified channel strategy. J-Partner is designed to enable and reward partners for the value they add in helping customers address business critical networking and security challenges. The new J-Partner Programme delivers product solutions, financial incentives and programme offerings that are designed to make it easier for channel partners to drive demand and capture new business opportunities.</p>
<p>"J-Partner is designed to consolidate the different market segments and customer categories previously addressed by Juniper and NetScreen before the latter was acquired by Juniper," said Gary Kinsley, director, channel sales, APAC. "Under the programme, we will support both companies’ business partners, and provide the means to help them grow their business and to profit from an expanding market.</p>
<p>"Juniper now has a full-range distribution mechanism spanning both the enterprise and carrier markets. Some partners in the past had access only to the carrier market, and others to the enterprise market, but now our partners are able to address both those sectors with a complete range of infrastructure and security solutions," said Kinsley.</p>
<p>J-Partner delivers a variety of programmes to develop and support partners' sales, technical, marketing, operations and management efforts and is targeted at channel partners and alliances - technical and solutions providers that deliver next generation IP services tailored to specific markets and application requirements. The J-Partner Programme offers many options for partners to add post-sales value specific to their business model and support infrastructure with the re-designed support programmes. The new Juniper Networks Authorised Service Centre (JNASC) programme recognises partners across a broad spectrum of post-sales competency levels including Support Reseller, Support Manager and Support Provider.</p>
<p>Additionally, Juniper's new partner profitability architecture - J-Rewards - ensures that partners yield maximum financial value at all touch points of the relationship, including business principals, sales teams and technical teams. J-Rewards enables Juniper Networks to acknowledge and reward channel partners based on where they excel in the sales cycle with new individual and business incentives.</p>
<p>The J-Partner Programme also offers a broad range of partner education opportunities optimized for individual job functions. Specific training, authorisation and certification options are being designed for sales team members, as well as pre- and post-sales technical staff.</p>
