Easy Internet Services has swept Australian computer manufacturer Optima's annual award ceremony at its Dealer Conference in Sydney.
The Mackay-based dealer won both the Queensland Business Partner of the Year and National Business Partner of the Year awards.
With a compact staff of six, Easy Internet Services had managed to outsell any other partner, Optima said.
Easy Internet Services owner, Deon Attard, who started his first computer business at the tender age of 16, said the award was recognition of the extra yards regional dealers had to put in compared to their metropolitan counterparts.
The company has already been recognised for its regional work: it was one of seven ISPs selected for the Federal Government's Higher Bandwidth Incentive Scheme (HiBIS).
Under the scheme the government supplied incentive payments to dealers to provide regional, rural and remote Australia with higher bandwidth Internet services.
