Services contracts extended with two key E&amp;U customers</p>
<p>Melbourne, Australia, 24 March, 2004 – Leading global solutions company LogicaCMG announced today it has re-signed services contracts with two key energy and utilities customers, energy generator, distributor and retailer TXU Australia and Yarra Valley Water, Melbourne’s largest retail water company.
TXU and Yarra Valley Water are already both long-term customers, having each partnered with LogicaCMG for eight years, both organizations have elected to extend their previous contracts months in advance of their renewal dates

Re-signing of the contract with TXU followed a comprehensive benchmarking exercise undertaken by Gartner analysts, who assessed the value LogicaCMG delivered across the organisation. LogicaCMG’s service offering and deliverables compared to that of competing IT service providers.

TXU’s renewed contract covers the provision of end-to-end IT services across the entire organisation for the next two years. It involves facilities management, server support, and data center hosting.
Yarra Valley Water’s extended contract also includes end-to-end IT services and facilities management, including, operational support of its billing system.
Terry Swingler, general manager, finance and company secretary, Yarra Valley Water commented on LogicaCMG’s flexibility and responsiveness in regards to a range of the water company’s technology needs.
“We’ve been particularly impressed with LogicaCMG’s input on a number of projects separate to our outsourcing services agreement, such as our award winning web based FLASH (Fault Logging and Service History) system.”
