Systems Integrator, Brennan IT Group, has announced the opening of a Queensland office in the Brisbane CBD.
Brennan IT said that whilst many technology companies had been downsizing and rationalising their services and product offerings, it has experienced an excellent rate of growth across the business, and therefore it felt the need to expand.
Brennan IT’s Managing Director, David Stevens, said the catalyst for the move had been the recent success with local companies, including Mirvac and Accor.
“The company has been looking after clients in the Brisbane and the south-east Queensland area for over six years, but realised the need for a more permanent presence to meet growing demands,” he said.
Other recent network contracts for the company have included hotel chains such as Saville, Travelodge and Marriot.
Business Development Manager, Scott Crawford, said Brennan IT was now focusing on professional services, although it still resells hardware and software applications.
“In the past, the channel has struggled to understand what we do,” he said. “There is a lot of demand for our current service, and we are in discussions with many major companies like Mack and Boeing.
“Brennan IT's move to Brisbane, has been driven primarily by the needs of the increased business. So we are investing the time, money and man power in an actual office.”
Crawford described the opening of the new office as a necessary stepping stone to expand the client base in the whole south-east Queensland area.
Brennan IT has 30 engineers in Sydney and will have four engineers in the Queensland office. Senior consultant, David Clark, will head the operation.
