Networking and communications vendor Avaya has given its sales and channel presence in Australia a face-lift with the appointment of three new staff members.
The three account manager positions cover the vendor’s south pacific, global and channel portfolios.
Michael Rosing has been appointed to the newly created role of regional account director for the south pacific region. Rosing has over 15 years experience in the IT&T industry, including sales and business development positions at Telstra, British Telecom, Rockwell First Point Contact, IBM and Dimension Data.
Jordan Quinn, who will take up the global account manager’s role, previously held a position within the business development and professional services division at Canon Australia. Quinn also worked in business development for both Software Spectrum and Executive Business Services, a US-based software developer.
Yvette McEnearney rounds out the new team as channel account manager. According to Avaya, McEnearney has over six years experience in the Australian ICT industry, previously holding a channel management position with FrontRange Solutions. McEnearney has also worked for ATI Group and NEC Business Solutions.
One of McEnearney’s primary tasks will be to work closely with and support Avaya’s global channel program BusinessPartners, which incorporates the vendor’s reseller partners and consultants.
